Free Programs

 

At Youth & Famillies for Christ all of our programs are free!

 

During the school year we have:

CMS after school club  every Wednesday from 2:45 pm to 5:00 pm at YFFC

Monday night high school club every Monday from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at YFFC

High school young men's bible study every Monday 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm at YFFC

Lakeview Jr. & Sr. high club meets every Wednesday from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Lakeview School

Small group: W.A.I.T training (Why Am I Temped), Social Skills, and Upward Movement and many different types of small groups for Middle School and High School meet through out the week at various locations.  Our small groups focus on positive interactions.

O.S.S. (Out of School Suspension) mirrors the student's respective school calendar.  This program is based on the student's respective school to request a seat in our OSS program.

Drop-in open to all students every day except Wednesday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm This time is for students to hang-out or get help with their homework

 

Year around programs:

Purity/Real Men lock-ins twice a year

W.A.I.T and the 40 Assets classes

GAPS (Groups of Adolescents Providing Support) meets every Tuesday from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm

Stress & Anger Management meets every Thursday 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm at YFFC

Cooking Classes at various times

Health/Workout classes at various times and durations

 

In the summer:

We host our annual YFFC Camp typically in June and at Mahoney State Park...did we mention this is free?

Warrior Wednesdays

Crisis Prevention help at-risk youth deal with:

 

  • Teen Pregnancy
  • Anger Issues
  • Feeling alone
  • Substance Abuse
  • Physical & Emotional Abuse
  • Homelessness
  • Hunger
  • Suicide Prevention

 

We are not certified counselors. But, we are here to listen, to help anyway we can and connect you with community services, you may need.
